Tracie’s Memorial Cup
The Wexford & District Schoolboys U13 and U14 managers organised the Wexford Challenge Tournament which took place on Monday 25th October in Bunclody. A big thank you to Emmet Byrne and the u13 coaching staff and John Fanning and his u14 coaching staff for a fantastic day of football. A special thank you must go to Eileen Mullett who did a massive amount of work to make it a fantastic tournament.
Thank you to all the teams who made the journey to Bunclody AFC including: Limerick Desmond, Shelbourne (Dublin), Shamrock Rovers (Dublin), Dundalk, Kilnamanagh, Greystones and of course the two Wexford Teams.
Both Wexford teams reached the finals but Dundalk beat Wexford U13 in the Tracie Lawlor Memorial Cup. There was success for the Wexford U14s who beat Shamrock Rovers 3-1 to claim the Alex Robinson Cup.
Thank you to all who made it a great Tournament.

Summer Cycle from Wexford to Germany
Matthias Kausch and Egbert Fleck took on the challenge to cycle from Wexford to Germany. Where else would Germans go? Why would one do this?
Because we think we can and want to prove it. To make it a little bit more interesting we try to do it in 10 days. At the same time Egbert would like to take the opportunity to raise awareness for the Tracie Lawlor Trust which directly help those with CF & their families by giving them assistance for CAM medicine to improve their quality of life.
Egbert thinks that this is a very worthy cause and if you would like to help him on this please click on the link below which will bring you to the fundraising page for the Tracie Lawlor Trust.
