TRAD TO ROCK'N'ROLL NIGHT
A great night took place on Saturday 19th November when a large crowd were entertained with some great local artists, Mummers and story tellers but the higtlight of the evening was the Loughgiel School of Irish Dancing who travelled from Ballymena Northern Ireland and put on a great display of dancing. A bigh thank you to all who supported the event

TLT SOCCER TOURNAMENT 2011

The annual TLT Soccer Tournament took place on the 23rd of July 2011 at Ferrycarraig Park (Wexford Youths ground), commencing at 10.30 am.

A twist on this year's tournament was a celebrity match with a team captained by the legendary Paul McGrath (ooh ahh)... The full celeb line up included Mick Wallace, Liam Griffin, Larry Murphy, Damien FitzHenry, Tom Dempsey, Billy Walsh, Tom Mooney

Also playing on Paul's team were people with Cystic Fibrosis.

ANNUAL CHARITY HOLISTIC FAIR

This years annual charity holistic fair will took place on Sunday, April the 10th between 11:00am - 6:00pm, at the Talbot Hotel, Wexford. This is the fourth year of this fantastic event hosted by Ann's Angels of Wexford town. This event has grown immensely since it's inception to include everything from aromatherapy, books, gems, crystals, natural soaps/candles, to mediums, angel card readers, the list goes on and on!

Heal-A-Thon

A very unique event occurs every year at this fair. Therapists from all over Ireland/Wexford very kindly donate their time and provide services from Massage, Reiki, Reflexology to other forms of energy healing, at just €25 per session and all the monies raised will go straight to both charities involved. With a big thanks to Terri & Ann for this great event and thinking of us this year again! So come along, your sure to find something of interest!

SAN FRANCISCO SWIM EVENTS

Table Quiz in aid of San Fran Swim

Table quiz in Spider's Bar New Ross, Friday, March the 25th at 9 p.m. Team of four only 20 euro. Also on the night there will be music and raffle prizes all organised by DJ Dave O'Neill. Sure to be a great night full of laughs and prizes!

Saturday 26th and 27th of March: Church Gate Collection, Piercestown, Glynn, Barntown etc.

Thursday 31th March: Bagpacking in Tesco, Wexford.

Friday 1st April: Bagpacking in Tesco and Dunnes, Wexford.

Saturday 2nd April: Bagpacking Tesco and Dunnes, Wexford.

SOME OF THE UPCOMING EVENTS IN 2011

Annual Cabaret and Dance

Next up, the Annual Cabaret and Dance in the Talbot Hotel on Friday 25th February, tickets on sale now, and the good news is that tickets will still cost just €5, with plenty of baskets available to be won as raffle prizes as always!

The triathlon (row, cycle, run) proved a big success last year, this event will be up and running again on 8th May. And there’s an added attraction, with a section for those who just want to run or cycle. Contact Richard Bridges for details

Tracie’s Walk was first held from Castlebridge to Wexford town last year and proved to be hugely popular. A number of people revealed they couldn’t take part on the day because of previous commitments, but that they would be sure to book the 2011 date in their diary. We’ll be publishing that shortly.

A new venture will be the TLT celeb soccer match in Shamrock Rovers’ Tallaght Stadium, Dublin, in August which will also feature stalls and health info on the day.
