This year’s Cabaret takes place in the Talbot Hotel on Friday 9th March 2012. The night kicks off at 9 with John and Marty and MC will be George Lawlor who will introduce you to the rest of the entertainment for the night, including Brendan Keane and his band, Chris Berry, The Lawlor Family, Alice Cant Turn Left (from Dublin), Tony Jeffers and Route 66. TRAD TO ROCK’N'ROLL NIGHT
A great night took place on Saturday 19th November when a large crowd were entertained with some great local artists, Mummers and story tellers but the higtlight of the evening was the Loughgiel School of Irish Dancing who travelled from Ballymena Northern Ireland and put on a great display of dancing. A bigh thank you to all who supported the event
TLT SOCCER TOURNAMENT 2011
The annual TLT Soccer Tournament took place on the 23rd of July 2011 at Ferrycarraig Park (Wexford Youths groud).
A twist on this year’s tournament is a celebrity match with a team captained by the legendary Paul McGrath (ooh ahh)… The full celeb line up included Paul McGrath, Liam Griffin, Mick Wallace, Damien FitzHenry, Tom Dempsey, Larry Murphy, Billy Walsh
Also playing on Paul’s team will be people with Cystic Fibrosis, if you know a CF or are one and would like a chance to play with Paul please mail the Tracie Lawlor Trust on our “contact us” page for the necessary medical release forms for your physician to fill out.
Cost per team is €40 and all proceeds are in aid of the TLT4CF. Reg. forms are available to download on the right hand margin of the home page. Please follow the guild for filling out the forms carefully to ensure there is nothing missing and please return all forms to – The Tracie Lawlor Trust for Cystic Fibrosis, Mullinagower, Castlebridge, Co. ANNUAL CHARITY HOLISTIC FAIR
This years annual charity holistic fair will take place on Sunday, April the 10th between 11:00am – 6:00pm, at the Talbot Hotel, Wexford. This is the fourth year of this fantastic event hosted by Ann’s Angels of Wexford town. This event has grown immensely since it’s inception to include everything from aromatherapy, books, gems, crystals, natural soaps/candles, to mediums, angel card readers, the list goes on and on!
Heal-A-Thon
A very unique event occurs every year at this fair. Therapists from all over Ireland/Wexford very kindly donate their time and provide services from Massage, Reiki, Reflexology to other forms of energy healing, at just €25 per session and all the monies raised will go straight to both charities involved. With a big thanks to Terri & Ann for this great event and thinking of us this year again! So come along, your sure to find something of interest!
